Online Training - 32 Lessons


Training is one of the important stuff we are doing during the work with the partners, this platform give us the option to work together on the curriculum and the learning path (structuralism).

Empowering under served-communities' youth by building technology \ social and leadership capacities through initiate sustainable projects for their communities.



Operational Goals

  1. The student will be able to implement Open Source platform and Web 2.0 solutions for organizations and other audiences based on ITCommunities methodologies.
    • The student will learn how to analyze the needs and produce Software Requirement Review.
    • The student will learn how to analyze the system: create organizational processes, understand the entities and select the right platform to support that.
    • The student will learn how to customize the platform he choose and how to fit the platform as good as possible to the organizational needs.
    • The student will learn how to support the platform and train supporters in the organization.
    • The student will learn how to make quality tests to the platform and see that it works under any condition.
    • The student will learn how to market the platform and rich to his audiences.
  2. The student will be able to work as part of a group and collaborate and cooperate to reach the desire goals.
  3. The student will be able to talk in IT jargon and have professional conversation with technology experts.
  4. The student will learn to give to his community back and support the community needs.

The Process

Analyze the Need - learn how to set surveys and interviews to the target audiance, understand their needs and their problems, learn the current processes and think with them about better and more effective processes - all this based on the analyze the need methods.

Analyze the Solution - the students will learn how to convert the organizational needs into technology platforms - they will set the processes, understand the organizational entities and set the basic pages of the platform. After that, they will choose the right platform that answer most of their needs based on these methods.

Customize the Platform - After choosing the right platform, minor changes may take place in the platform - changing colors, adding more fields, add initial content etc. after this phase the platform will be ready to deploy and start working on it - based on these methods.

QA and Support -  When the platform is ready, the student will learn how to check that it is working properly and set support methods for supporting the users of this platform - based on the testing methods and support methods.

Teaching Methodologies

The teaching will be based on Project Based Learning and on constructive guidelines, every class will split into smaller groups of 3-5 students a group and set their on community based project.

the group should be heterogeneity based on the management methods that available here.

Every lesson contains these parts:
1. Starting Game.
2. New Technology Tool.
3. Working on the project with the teams.
4. Social Game.
